Plan and carry out audit assignments across major international EPC programmes, with a focus on governance, project controls, budgets, timelines and contract administration.
Evaluate delivery risk, trace the underlying causes behind schedule slippage or budget overruns, and put forward workable corrective measures.
Work side by side with project management teams to sharpen decision-making, lower exposure and lift overall delivery performance.
Interact confidently with senior figures such as Project Directors and Construction Managers, translating findings into insights that speak to the business.
Contribute to ongoing improvement work by using data-led audit methods to strengthen governance and the internal control environment.
Requirements
University degree in project management, engineering, construction management or a comparable discipline; holding a PMP is a plus.
Between 7 and 15 years spent on EPC or large-scale industrial undertakings, covering areas such as project governance, cost and schedule control, contracting, risk, claims or site management.
Solid command of how EPC projects run end to end, together with CAPEX governance, project control practices and planning software (Primavera, MS Project or similar).
Sharp analytical thinking plus strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder skills — including the confidence to constructively challenge people at senior level.
Sound judgement, commercial awareness and a practical, improvement-oriented approach; able to operate autonomously within international matrix structures and open to travel of roughly 30%.
