An international technology and consulting company is looking for a Cloud Engineer to work on modern cloud-based solutions in the automotive and payments domain. The role focuses on building scalable data pipelines, supporting IT transformations, and improving DevOps processes within an agile, international team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate AWS-based data and ETL pipelines
- Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Create and manage BI dashboards to monitor business and payment KPIs
- Support complex IT transformation and cloud migration projects
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve delivery processes
- Ensure system scalability, reliability, and security
- Automate workflows and improve DevOps practices
- Monitor systems using logging and observability tools
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development and operational processes
Requirements
Technical Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, such as:
- Compute and serverless (e.g., functions, edge delivery)
- Storage and databases
- Data processing and ETL tools
- Infrastructure as Code (e.g., CloudFormation or similar)

- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Grafana)
- Understanding of cloud architecture and DevOps principles
Nice to Have:
- Experience with ETL pipelines and data visualization tools
- Knowledge of scripting (e.g., Python)
- Familiarity with payment systems and orchestration platforms
- Basic knowledge of backend/frontend technologies (e.g., Java, REST APIs, React)
- AWS certifications
Education
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Languages
- English: Fluent
- Slovak: Fluent
- German: Advantage
