QA Automation Engineer

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to help ensure the reliability, stability, and performance of a large-scale public cloud platform built on open-source technologies.

In this position, you will work in a highly agile, DevSecOps-driven environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain and enhance the quality of cloud services operating at hyperscale. This role requires a strong technical background in cloud infrastructure, automation, and testing practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases
  

• Execute and monitor automated and manual testing activities
  

• Identify defects across interfaces, APIs, and backend functionality
  

• Drive continuous automation using modern testing and scripting tools
  

• Analyze and troubleshoot complex issues in cloud backend environments
  

• Validate technical documentation and contribute to its accuracy
  

• Collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams in an agile setup
  

• Contribute to improving overall platform reliability and service quality
  

Requirements

Technical Expertise

• 5-7 years of professional experience in IT, with strong exposure to modern cloud environments
  

• Deep understanding of cloud technologies, including:
  

  • Cloud services and APIs
    

  • Network protocols and general networking concepts
    

  • Configuration management and automation tools (e.g., Ansible)
    

  • Shell scripting (Bash)
    

  • Containerization technologies (Docker and container ecosystems)
    

  • Database fundamentals
    

• Practical experience working with Linux systems
  

• Strong background in test methodologies, automation frameworks, and testing tools
  

• Familiarity with agile development methodologies
  

• Ability to analyze technical solutions and propose innovative improvements
  

Additional Advantages

Education

• Degree in engineering, computer science, or a comparable technical field, or equivalent professional training
