DevOps Engineer Professional (AI cloud)

About the Project

Our client is a global high-tech leader partnering to develop the world’s first industrial AI cloud for European manufacturers. This is a rare opportunity to work on an "AI Factory" infrastructure that will host 10,000 GPUs across NVIDIA DGX B200 systems and RTX Pro Servers.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture & Design: Design, develop, and implement the architecture of services based on AI Factory Cloud platform requirements.
  
• Automation Strategy: Prepare prototypes and concepts for further automation of services, processes, and operating models to satisfy efficiency requirements.
  
• Pipeline Management: Manage the entire lifecycle of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approaches. You will own the maintenance, support, and enhancement of product pipelines, including integration with various platforms and root-cause analysis of runtime errors.
  
• Technical Leadership: Act as a key technical lead, coordinating activities across related technologies and providing consulting services to project teams.
  
• Mentorship: Mentor and train co-workers to spread knowledge and develop their skills.
  
• Innovation: Research assigned technologies, determine business requirements, and implement new innovative technologies to satisfy innovation strategies.
  

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Experience:
  
• 5+ years in the design and delivery of systems based on IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  
• 3+ years in building CI/CD pipelines and serverless architectures.
  
• Containerization & Orchestration: Solid knowledge of Kubernetes (or similar) and experience with VMware Tanzu Kubernetes.
  
• Infrastructure & Hardware: Knowledge of NVIDIA GPU-Accelerated server platforms and the AI Factory Cloud software stack.
  
• Automation & IaC: Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Salt-stack, Terraform, and Helm.
  
• CI/CD: Expert in automation with Git (GitHub, GitLab) and tools like GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD.
  
• Scripting: Proficiency in Go, Python, or Bash.
  
• OS & Networking: Experience with Linux OS and Software Defined Networking (SDN).
  
• Monitoring: Experience with visualization tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
  
• Data: Knowledge of Data Engineering, Transformation, and Migration tools.
  

General Requirements:

• Education: Master’s degree in Information Technologies.
  
• Language: Advanced (C1) English is required; German is an advantage.
  
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, negotiation skills, and basic leadership/project management abilities.
