DevOps Engineer Professional

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a team developing a modern, Kubernetes-based Platform-as-a-Service designed for high-sovereignty environments such as public sector, healthcare and regulated industries.

The role includes co-creating next-generation cloud solutions, implementing sovereignty controls (encryption, identity management, compliance frameworks) and operating a secure cloud-native platform hosted within the EU.

You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, automation, integration, observability, and support of modern cloud-native technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide consulting to delivery and architecture teams to ensure efficient and secure cloud operations.
  

• Participate in the design, development and optimization of CI/CD pipelines and delivery workflows.
  

• Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines, integrate them with multiple platforms and infrastructures.
  

• Analyze pipeline runtime issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and drive improvements.
  

• Develop automation tasks across the SW lifecycle to improve efficiency and reliability.
  

• Transfer DevOps principles and best practices within the team and wider organization.
  

• Evaluate, integrate and operate new cloud-native tools and technologies.
  

• Design and implement IT security, compliance and safety concepts.
  

• Consult on infrastructural requirements, compliance and operational best practices.
  

Requirements

Education

• Master’s degree in Information Technologies.
  

Experience

• 5+ years in ICT / DevOps / Cloud Engineering roles.
  

Technical Skills

• Kubernetes: Expert level; certifications such as CKA / CKAD / CKS are an advantage
  

• Programming: Golang (Expert)
  

• Scripting: Bash, Python (Expert)
  

• Linux OS: Expert
  

• Networking: Expert
  

• Monitoring & Observability: ELK, Prometheus, Grafana (Expert)
  

• Cloud Platforms: Azure, AWS, GCP or comparable private cloud
  

• Cloud-native ecosystem: Secret management, container registries, ingress/egress, service mesh
  

• IaC / Automation: Ansible, Terraform, Puppet (Expert)
  

• CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitLab (Advanced)
  

• Security: Advanced knowledge of cloud and container security
  

• Experience with modern cloud-native architectures and DevOps tooling
