Senior DevOps Engineer

The Senior DevOps Engineer oversees the full lifecycle of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategies. This role includes defining and automating configuration management, release management, and the build, test, and deployment processes. Additionally, the engineer develops prototypes and concepts to enhance automation within the assigned technologies.

• Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders, including Product Managers, Product Owners, Operations Teams, and Customers.
• Manage specific platform configurations, including network, application, and security aspects.
• Support the development and maintenance of applications.
• Continuously optimize the software development, release, and deployment processes to improve reliability, testing efficiency, and build procedures (Automation, scaling, CI/CD workflows, Git).
• Enhance platform development and release lifecycle efficiencies by modernizing processes and workflows.
• Apply agile development methodologies (processes and tools) and participate in Agile/Scrum events such as daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and customer sprint reviews.
• Assist in platform operations, including specific platform configurations, tracking feature requests, managing operational requirements, conducting end-to-end application performance tests, planning resources, and implementing security improvements.

• A Master’s degree in Information Technologies.
• At least 5 years of experience in ICT Systems.
• Proficiency in English at an advanced level (C1).
• Strong presentation and project leadership skills.

Technical Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes (or similar container-based technologies).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Go, Python, or Bash.
• Experience with automation tools and deployment automation (Ansible, SaltStack, Terraform, Helm).
• Expertise in CI/CD within a Kubernetes environment and repository management.
• Advanced automation skills using Git (GitHub, GitLab) and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD.
• Experience with Linux OS.
• Familiarity with monitoring and visualization tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Instana).
• Experience with databases (Postgres, MySQL, HANA) is a plus.
• Experience with streaming and indexing technologies (Kafka, Elastic Search) is a plus.
