This role is responsible for installing, supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting systems and their software for CAD & PDM and training of users.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Reports to Manager Business Applications
• Ensure operational availability and development of the CAD applications in a global environment
• Gather software requirements from users, analyze and define solutions
• Act as application power user by providing assistance and guidance to users
• Responsibility of 1st and 2nd level support
• Coordinate the 3rd level support with the HZI-partners
• Assist users with BIM coordination and management
• Manage clients in a virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) environment
• Create user and administrator documentations
• Responsible to organize and train users in CAD applications
• Manage servers from the application layer and coordinate with the outsourcing partner
• Being part in the “Application Ownership Team”
• Support users in global environment
• Experience with CAD applications
• Background in construction or industrial engineering advantageous
• Didactic skills (training + support of internal customers)
• Customer and service oriented
• Independent and structured way of working
• Knowledge of IT project management
• Team player with good communication skills at various levels
• Languages:
o English Level C1 (spoken + written)
o German would be a plus (not mandatory)
