Request the schedules and quality documents from Suppliers
• Comment these documents to have correct level of detail on schedule and requested
inspections planed as per contractual requisitions and regulation/construction codes.
• Plan milestones of follow-up
• Organize kick-off meetings with SQM and other departments involved (engineering, logistics,
quality, procurement)
• Keep informed of engineering progress and ensure validation of design documentation from
Engineering department is matching the needs of schedule (internal expediting)
• Organization and planning of inspection activities
• Plan workshop Inspections according Project Quality Control Plan and manufacturing schedule,
to ensure that Suppliers deliver their contractual scope on time and meeting the quality
requirements
• Participate or plan for external inspection resources (QC inspectors) to be mobilized
• Workshop Inspections
• Verify suppliers’ manufacturing qualifications
• Instructs QC inspectors regarding supplier monitoring activities
• Participate or Assign QC inspections at suppliers’ premises. Coordinate with other participants
• Ensure inspection report is produced. List all non-conformities / deviations.
• Desk Expediting of Purchase Orders
• Track Purchase Orders from placement throughout delivery
• Monitors the progress of suppliers. Ensure production of reliable and clear supplier progress
reports.
• Coordinating & Reporting
• Inform SQM on QC & Expediting status
• Follow up supplier non-conformities / deviations (Corrective Action – Preventive Action)
• Resolve or escalates all expediting & quality issues
• Participate into Supplier performance evaluation
• Is aware of the HSE requirements relevant to their role, and implements and complies with them
Industry experience (Oil&Gas/Energy sector/Energy from Waste/Renewable Energies) in Quality Control
within an international project environment
• Very good understanding of Quality Control processes applicable to supply markets
• Knowledge of schedule analysis / critical path
• Experience in purchasing and supply chain activities is a plus
• Knowledge of non-destructive testing techniques owning recognised training certificates (ASNT, EN ISO
9712, level II)
• Experience with EN and ASME codes and regulation for machines&valves and Steelworks (EU/2006/42, AP6D)/ alternatively for pressure parts (EN 12952/13445/13480 – ASME I/VIII/IX) /alternatively for electrical
parts IEC, BS, VDE
• Familiar with international standards regarding welding, dimensional checks, balancing and surface
treatments (EN13920, ISO3834, EN12944, ISO1461, EN15614-1, ISO1940) / alternatively for pressure parts(PED, ISO3834, ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015, EN15614-1)/ alternatively for electrical parts IEC testing
methods
• ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 lead Auditor is a plus
• Experience as Desk Expeditor for project execution (Expeditor certificate) is a plus
• Certification(s) as welding specialist or welding engineer e.g. CSWIP, IWT, IWE/EWE is a plus
• Good knowledge of MS-Office (Excel incl. Pivot, Power point)
• Fluent (minimum B2 level) in written and spoken English and Slovak, any other language skills are an
advantage
