Senior Database Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Database Engineer to design, build, and maintain database solutions and data pipelines. In this role, you will analyze datasets to identify optimization opportunities, ensure the reliability of database infrastructure, and contribute to system scalability and performance improvements. Your expertise in Oracle Exadata Administration will be key in managing critical database environments and enabling data-driven decision-making.

• Analyze complex data structures, dependencies, and relationships to contribute to logical and physical data models.
• Design, develop, and maintain database architectures, ensuring seamless integration of vendor database solutions.
• Contribute to capacity planning, identifying necessary hardware, software, and database configurations to meet business requirements.
• Oversee database lifecycle management, including smooth upgrades, installation, and support of new capabilities.
• Perform data manipulation, cleansing, and blending from multiple sources, handling various data storage paradigms.
• Build and maintain data infrastructure to solve business problems and enable data-driven insights.

You Will Succeed If You Have:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Oracle Exadata Administrator.
• Strong English communication skills (B2 level or above).

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MariaDB (all versions applicable within the contractor’s scope).
• Knowledge of high availability solutions.
• Proficiency in command-line and shell scripting.
• Familiarity with support-related tools (e.g., PuTTY).

Desired Certification:

• Oracle Exadata Administration certification is highly preferred.
